A series of portraits for a story by Kristina Rizga about senior high school students graduating from Mission High School here in San Francisco. I always enjoy working with teenagers, such different reactions to the camera and endless energy. It was nice to set foot into the school which is in my neighborhood and serves students from very diverse backgrounds. You quickly get a sense how much the teachers, who have a tough job, care about their students. There’s a slide show up on the Mother Jones website and you can read more about the students and their school in an ongoing series Kristina is writing.
